Summer Reading Program Make a Splash: Read
June 11 – July 23
Registration begins Tuesday, June 1. Children who register for any of the summer activities will receive a free book bag with special prizes.

Story Times

Books Alive, Tuesdays, 2:30 – 3:30, for children 5 – 8 years old.
Craft Times
Just crafts for children 4 – 12 years old. Children may choose which crafts they want to do. Children under 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult. All parents are welcome.
Sessions are on Wednesdays from 11:00 – 12:00 and 2:30 – 3:30. Choose which time is most convenient for you.
Reading Contest
This contest runs throughout the summer program. Children from 4 – 12 years old may participate.
Special Presentations
Friday, June 18 at 10:00 AM Oceans of Stories with The Kaleidoscope Storytellers, an interactive storytelling experience for the kids.
Friday, June 25 at 10:00 AM The Ronald McDonald Show will be at the library with magic and fun for everyone.
Friday, July 9 John Storms will bring his World of Reptiles to the library. See live snakes and other reptiles and learn about these animals and their environment.
Friday, July 16 Lavon Silvernell from Trout Lake Nature Center will bring specimens of local plants and wildlife. Learn about nature here in Central Florida.
Annual Summer Party
Friday, July 23 at 2:00, sponsored by Chick-fil-A. This party is for everyone who has participated in the Summer Program and their families. Prizes for the Reading Contest will be awarded.
All of these programs are free to everyone. Children under 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
