Cradle to College

Lake Family Magazine presents “Cradle to College,” a Red Letter Marketing production.  The upscale children’s consignment event and expo to be held May 14th-15th located at the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) in the Wesley Center.  The event and expo will showcase gently loved children’s items such as clothing ranging from newborn/preemie to size 10, toys, books, shoes, cd’s and DVD’s, baby gear (strollers, highchairs, etc), furniture, bedding, maternity wear and more.  There will be special sections for holiday and boutique wear, as well college game-day wear and accessories.  The idea is if a child has worn it, played with it, read it, listened to it, watched it, and it is in good condition it can be resold.

Save for the future by consigning and shopping Cradle to College!  Consignors will receive 70% of their total sales!  Consign and volunteer and be afforded an opportunity to shop early, and have your name entered in a drawing to win 100% of your total sales.  Allow Cradle to College to display and sell your items in a professional, department-like store setting.  Volunteers are a vital part of the team and will be rewarded by having their name entered in a drawing to win a gift basket donated by an expo vendor, as well as be able to shop early.  The event expo will feature local mommy/children related businesses, and healthcare professionals.

In an effort to help our local community, an exclusive pre-sale will be held on Friday evening that will allow you to shop early for an entry fee of $5; which will be donated to the FUMC Child Development Center.  A portion of the nominal entry fee for Saturday will also be donated to the FUMC Child Development Center.  New parents (children under 1 year of age), pregnant moms, fostering/adopting parents, childcare/learning center directors, and youth/children’s ministry leaders are invited to a pre-sale Saturday morning. Local teen parents will be invited to a benefit hour on Saturday afternoon.  All pre-sales, and the teen-parent benefit hour require pre-registration (and space is limited). Consignors also have an opportunity to donate any unsold items to the 2econd Life Resale Shop, whose proceeds benefit both New Beginnings of Lake County and Real Help (a ministry of Real Life Christian Church).

The Wesley Center is located at FUMC on the corner of 8th Street and Junaita Street, Clermont, 34711. For more information visit cradletocollegesale.com, email info@cradletocollegesale.com or call Melinda Gill at 407-616-1233.
