I could wax on about the New Year and resolutions and losing weight and saving money and blah, blah, blah. But you are going to do that yourself for the next…week or so (at least ) hee hee. So, I’ll just leave those pep talks to the rest of the peanut gallery and leave you with this. What more can I say than is right here in this wonderful poem by William Ward? Go get ‘em Lake County!
Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!
This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!”
