While Americans spend more and more money on exercise equipment, gym memberships, diet books, and crazy home exercise equipment, the only results that we are getting are smaller wallets and bigger waist lines. How can we gain traction in this losing battle?
The answer is simple: We need to take 100% responsibility for our own health and that of our family’s. Do the right thing by eating right and moving more. Set the example for your kids. It really is just that simple.
It starts at home. Actually it starts by getting out of your home. Families need to move more. What better place than Lake County to be outdoors and in the fresh air?
I have people ask me all the time where to go and what to do with families. Following are 6 places that may not even know about it in Lake Country that are terrific for you and your family.
The great thing about the about these parks is that they are all close and they are all easily accessible. If you want to get into the habit of doing active things with your kids then this is a great way to start!
Just remember that our bodies are designed to eat healthy food and move. If we don’t eat right and don’t move every day we get in trouble with our health. No matter what you’ve done in the past you can always be better tomorrow.
Pack a light and healthy lunch, get the kids in the car, and go get some fresh air and exercise!
